Pressure testing
Checking whether a suitable isolated system holds pressure can help narrow which pipework is affected.
Separate systems where possible
A property may contain hot and cold supplies, heating circuits and external branches. Testing an appropriate section can help distinguish one from another, subject to the available isolation and the condition of the installation.
What a pressure result means
A pressure change may support the presence of a leak in the tested section. It does not identify the exact place by itself, and test conditions need to be understood before conclusions are drawn.
Professional system checks
The method, pressure and duration must suit the installation. This is a specialist investigation, not an instruction to apply pressure to domestic pipework yourself.

A damp patch. A moving meter. A boiler that keeps losing pressure. You don’t need to know where the leak is to make an enquiry.
