Why does the boiler keep losing pressure?
Repeated pressure loss needs investigation, but it does not automatically mean a pipe is leaking under the floor.
Record before concluding
Note how frequently the pressure falls, what happens when the heating runs and any visible drips around accessible radiator fittings. Previous boiler service findings can be useful, especially if another possible cause has already been considered.
Different causes need different work
A pipe leak is one possibility. Boiler-related components can also affect pressure. A leak-detection investigation should establish what can reasonably be tested and when the appropriate heating-appliance specialist is needed.
Do not rely on repeated topping up
Follow the appliance instructions and seek professional advice for recurring pressure loss. Do not remove boiler covers or attempt gas-appliance repairs yourself. Repeated refilling does not identify the source.
Help define the appointment
Share the system layout if known, accessible radiators and any underfloor circuits. Information about which sections can be isolated can help plan a useful investigation rather than starting from assumptions.

A damp patch. A moving meter. A boiler that keeps losing pressure. You don’t need to know where the leak is to make an enquiry.
