What happens after the leak is repaired?
A successful plumbing repair and a fully restored room are different milestones. Plan for both.
Check the repaired system
Appropriate testing helps assess the completed plumbing work. Keep the findings and repair record so the scope is clear. Tell the business promptly if the original symptoms continue or a new concern appears.
Allow for moisture already present
Walls, floors and insulation may retain water after the source stops. Drying requirements depend on the materials and how wet they have become. A remaining mark alone does not prove that the repaired pipe is still leaking.
Arrange reinstatement
Drying, plastering, tiling, decorating and other remedial or decorative reinstatement are excluded from the residential package. The affected materials should be assessed before they are covered or refinished.
Keep the warranty information
The package includes a 12-month workmanship warranty for the agreed work. Retain the scope and supporting paperwork, and confirm the contact and procedure for raising a concern before the job is booked.

happening at home.
A damp patch. A moving meter. A boiler that keeps losing pressure. You don’t need to know where the leak is to make an enquiry.
